Hauts Reliefs — rethinking heritage furniture through contemporary design
Founded by Pauline Deschamps, Hauts Reliefs is an association committed to reinterpreting antique furniture through the lens of contemporary design and craft expertise.
As she explains:
“These pieces are not just objects. They carry the memory of homes, families, and gestures passed down from master to apprentice. To abandon them is to break a chain of transmission. To transform them is to allow them to continue living.”
Through its first collection, Hauts Reliefs offers a contemporary reading of furniture heritage, fostering collaborations between designers and artisans.
Each piece becomes a singular design object — sustainable, desirable and rooted in history, addressing today’s challenges in responsible and collectible design.
